| Der Feuchte-Messwertgeber nutzt die hygroskopischen Eigenschaften speziell präparierter Kunststofffasern zur Bestimmung der relativen Luftfeuchte. Das Haarmesselement absorbiert Feuchtigkeit und eine Längenänderung ist der äußerlich messbarer Effekt. Diese wird auf einen Feinschleifwiderstand übertragen und als linearisierter Widerstandsausgang an den Anschlussklemmen ausgegeben. Für den Feuchtemessbereich 0 bis 100% rF steht ein Ausgang mit 100 bis 138,5 Ohm zur Verfügung und entspricht somit einem standardisierten Pt100-Signal. Hierdurch wird der direkte Anschluss an alle Standardgeräte aus dem Mess-, Regel- und Registrierprogramm zur Weiterverarbeitung des Messsignals ermöglicht. Die Messgenauigkeit beträgt +/- 2,5% rF innerhalb des Arbeitsbereiches zwischen 35 bis 100% rF. Auf der Temperaturseite steht ein zweiter Messkanal mit Pt100-Signal zur Verfügung. Als zulässige Umgebungstemperatur ist ein Bereich zwischen -20 bis +60 °C für das Gehäuse und -40 bis +80 °C für die Messsonde definiert. Das Gehäuse besteht aus ABS-Kunststoff mit einer 230 mm langen abgesetzten Messsonde aus Edelstahl. Die Schutzartklasse ist IP64. Die Abmessungen betragen 120 x 280 x 80 mm.
