Temperature Limit Control Series
The Ranco® 2703-022 is designed to be an evaporator coil low temperature limit. If the 2703-022 is attached to the suction line of the evaporator coil wired in series with Y connection to the compressor, it's normal closed contact will shut down the refrigeration compressor when it senses the evaporator coil freezing up. The 2703-022 has a preformed clip attached to the evaporator suction line.

2703 Series Zone Control Modules
As individual zone dampers open and close, the system static pressure will rise and fall. In order to maintain proper airflow and static pressure through the HVAC system, a bypass system incorporating a reversible type motorized damper and a static pressure control should be used. The static pressure control is equipped with solid state switching and timing circuit to enhance its operation and improve reliability.

2700 Series Zone Controls
The Robertshaw® SlimZone Classic (SZC) zone control system is designed to control conditioned air in up to three separate zones using a single piece of heating/cooling equipment. SlimZone Classic is compatible with all conventional single stage heating and cooling units as well as single compressor heat pumps with auxiliary heat and dual fuel (add on) systems. The system only requires single stage mechanical or electronic thermostats even when used with heat pumps as auxiliary heat is controlled through a fixed timed upstage program. Add-on heat pump packages do not require a fossil fuel kit as the Classic system automatically locks out the compressor when the auxiliary heat source is energized. The temperature of each zone is controlled by that zone's individual thermostat. Air distribution to each zone is controlled by either two wire (power closed-spring return open) or three wire (power open-power closed) Robertshaw rectangular or round motorized zone dampers. All zone thermostats and dampers are wired directly to the SlimZone Classic control panel. The control panel is wired to the HVAC equipment. A dedicated 24V AC, 75VA transformer is required to provide power to the control panel. The control panel provides power to the zone thermostats and dampers.
